 It is best to contact Deanna for your first fitting at least 4 months before your wedding. First fittings are usually booked 8 to 12 weeks before your event.

Most often, the first fitting is for reviewing and pinning, and the gown is ready for the next appointment. If custom work is being done on the gown, the process may take longer. 

Most full bridal alterations include straps, bodice, skirt, hem, and bustle work. Custom work, such as the addition of sleeves, full shoulder modesty pieces, additional skirting, cutting the train, or similar, can also be done at additional cost. 

An estimate can usually be done over the phone, but for a firm price you will need to book a consultation appointment so Deanna can see the gown in person and determine what needs to be done and cost accordingly. A consultation is $100 +hst, which will be credited to your alterations should you choose to leave your dress with us. We will also confirm the final price prior to starting any work on the gown. 

Please bring your shoes, or a pair of shoes the height you plan to wear, and any special lingerie you plan to wear, such as spanx or sticky cups. We also have sew-in bridal cups on hand.  

Most full bridal alterations, which could include straps, bodice, skirt, hem, and bustle work, generally begin at $600 +hst.

Further, bridal alterations can range anywhere from $75 for a single bustle, to $1000+ for full alterations on a heavily beaded lace gown with any custom work.

In order to quote accurately, we will need to see the gown live - and you in the gown - to understand clearly what work needs to be done. You will be advised of the full price before any work is done on the gown.

We do offer rush alterations at an additional $200 fee. This cost will apply if you contact us within two weeks of your wedding date to book your first fitting.

In order to ensure the highest quality bridal alterations, we alter only bridal gowns. Please contact the boutique where you purchased your gown for another recommended alterationist for all coloured gowns.
